Why is my flash of light from the battery in my Mustang GT 1996, when the RPM to go above 3500?
At first only occurred when I went to 5000 RPM, but now if I get above 3500 rpm the battery light starts flashing, then if I keep the gas in the battery light stays fixed red and if I stay in it, will kill all power in my vehicle. If I stop the gas and gives way to the next gear, he goes, and normal cruising speed no lights at all. Any help would be great. Thanks! I replaced the belt. I have had alternator problems in the past. I was a little inclined towards this being a problem. The factory alternator 130 amp I think. That does not seem big enough. I think I'll upgrade to a 200-amp alternator racing.
