What are some good dog beds for Camping?
We are going Camping in March and we are sleeping in a tent so I am wondering what are some good dog beds for Camping he is a rottweiler so it needs to be quite large….

I’d get one of those thin mattresses made for camping. They self-inflate when you open a valve, and they roll up small when you push the air out. They’re made for people, shoulder to hip length, so they’re about right for a large dog. I’ve slept on them. They’re remarkably comfortable, even on hard or stony ground. That and a thick blanket or thrift store comforter should keep him pretty comfy. Mine is a Therma-Rest. There might be other brands. Any decent camping store should have them. Insulation from the cold ground is mostly what the dog needs. If it’s cold, maybe a space blanket under his sleeping pad will help. Besides, if you get him good and tired through the day he might not notice what he’s sleeping on.
You can also use a dog-sized piece of foam with a fabric cover to keep pine needles out of it, or just a blanket folded around it. Foam stores can cut whatever size piece you need, or if you can find a foam mattress someone is throwing out, or an old couch cushion, those work.
