What should I consider the following experiment with an egg?
I've been thinking about trying to fry an egg on the sidewalk, the temperatures in this town can get to 120 …. take into account when responding, it might be in my mind to eat the egg also. Do you think that the egg is cooked? I test asphault kitchen in black? any ideas for better results?
I live in Arizona, where it does sometimes reach 120 degrees. The experiment old Frying Eggs is a semi-regular staple of local media. Every few years someone tries. Results: The eggs will not "fry." A very thin layer the bottom is cooked (opaque as well), but mostly dry egg only … and it takes hours. Conclusion: hot asphalt is simply not anywhere near as hot as a frying pan.
