Wow you have quite a list! I will do the best I can to answer most of these…
Esophagus: muscular tube that pushes food down into the stomach
Stomach: Muscular organ that breaks down food using acids
Pyloric Valve: controls what leaves the stomach
Small Intestine: Where most of the nutrient reabsorption takes place (lined with villi)
Large intestine: aka colon, this absorbs water from nutrients and creates feces
Pancreas: endocrine gland secretes insulin (lowers blood sugar) and glucagon (raises blood sugar)
Liver: Secretes bile, which breaks down protein and carbohydrates; secretes vitamin A
Gallbladder:stores bile from the liver
Mesentery: general term for a double-layered muscle that connects organs (like the fallopain tubes which connect the ovaries to the uterus)
Trachea: aka windpipe, tube where oxygen-filled gas enters lungs and carbon-dioxide-filled gas leaves the lungs
Diaphragm: Muscle under the lungs that pulls down on the lungs when we inhale and pushes up on the lungs when we exhale
Bronchi: two branches of trachea that lead to the lungs
Lungs: Main respiratory organs which contain many alveoli which exchhange oxygen and carbon dioxide
Thyroid Gland: produces hormone that regulates metabolism and calcium absorption; needs iodine to function
Thymus gland: produces T-cells (white blood cells of the immune system)
Ovary: female gonads which produce mature ovum (eggs) and secrete progesterone and estrogen
Testis: male gonads which produce mature sperm
Heart: Muscle responsible for delivering oxygenated blood to the whole body
Atrium: the upper chambers of the heart where blood collects before passing to the ventricles
Pulmonary Artery: artery that carries carbon-dioxide-filled blood away from the heart and to the lungs
Pulmonary Vein: carries oxygenated blood from the lungs to the heart
Dorsal Aorta: chief aorta, which extends from the left ventricle
Spleen: produces cells involved in immune responses
Superior Vena Cava: large vein that returns blood to the heart from the head and arms (upper extremities)
Inferior Vena Cava: large vein that returns blood to the heart from the lower extremities (legs, feet, and pelvic organs)
Kidney: main organ of the urinary system that filters blood and produces urea (the yellow part of urine)
Urinary bladder: stores urine (urea + water) until micturition (urination) occurs
Hope this helps!
