Lol ~ ~ It's a great series, right? I love the books of Stirling. I think there are about six or so books in that series in particular, with another coming this year. However, if you stop to think about it that series in particular is not very realistic. Firearms, and combustion engines "suddenly" for some mystical reason to stop working? Hmmm. However, I enjoyed reading the books. I could tell you some books that really make you paranoid, but I'll be polite, and do so. However, I will say that it is prepared for emergencies is never a bad thing. We have about two years worth of food storage, and all kinds of emergency supplies. The situation today is a ecconomic very bad thing. So are things like UG99 (bet you did not even know what that is). You need to get some books and join some good food storage groups, preparation, if you really want that way. Otherwise as a rookie who will waste money and buy things that will be useless and potentially end up injure or kill, if you are trying to depend on them. I'm in my 40's. I thought for a long time, long ago in my life I will see the Third World War a global pandemic and hunger in the first world countries (with people actually die of hunger). Many people choose poo that idea. But what if I am right, and they are wrong?
