How to make a filter out of a pop bottle?
i have to make a filter out of a 2 liter bottle. these are the materials i can use:
1.sand
2.rocks
3.cotton balls
4. T-towel
5. coffee cups
6. paper towel
How should i make it so the water is drinkable and in what order
Put the heaviest as the first layer the water goes through ending up with the finest.
so cut the base off the plastic bottle first put the bottle upside down in to a coffee cup.
This will mean the clean water comes out of the bottle into the coffee cup.
You will need to build a support or the lot will fall over by the way.
Then go backwards with the finest filter nearest to the open top
t-towel,
cotton balls
paper towel
sand
rocks
Pour in the dirty water at the base of the bottle where the rocks are on top, because it is upside down.
