Can I charge a battery of 8 amps, 12V with one, two or 10 amp charger 12 V?
I have a small 12 V, 8 type flashlight amp battery I lost the charger. I wondered if I could use my car battery charger to charge? The charger can be configured for 12V but only 2 or 10 amps. No matter how much time it takes to load, only load securely so you can see if the battery and the device is supposed to can still work. Thanks.
It depends on what is chemistry. If you are a lead-acid type, may 2A mode on the charger, but must be careful to avoid overload. If you are a "nickel" or "lithium" rechargeable base package, you must use a special charger for it.
