In turn the oven on A / C?
I have March 1 Fleetwood mobile home. It came with a Coleman furnace installed. They said only that instead of using my refrigerator swamp that could turn off the gas in the oven add freon to it and use it as central air conditioning. Does anyone know if this is true? I looked in the oven and not see a single place can do this. However, in the thermostat on the wall that has a switch to change to either heat or cold.
This is not exactly as described. To add conventional air conditioning, you need a compressor located outside the home and the evaporator above the furnace heat exchanger. This assumes that there is enough space above the furnace to the indoor unit to the measure. I hope you do not follow the advice of the person who said this obviously has no knowledge in this area. I would be very skeptical of anything he suggests. The wall thermostat, if any, shall not be replaced, since it can handle the heating and cooling. However, this does not mean that the oven is equipped to do both things just because the thermostat can handle both functions.
