mechanical LED flashlights?
According to wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dyno_torch), a mechanically powered flashlight (or torch test) has a device called the flywheel can store energy. From this, the user presses a flywheel to power a small dynamo which supplies electrical power to a miniature incandescent bulb to operate. My questions are: 1. How much energy is stored in the wheel? 2. How much energy occur every time you inject the handle? 3. Is it possible that this mechanism to generate enough power (with some modifications if necessary) to make a hand fan mechanical traction of Justice (eg http://a248.e.akamai.net/f/248/5462/2h/amplestuff.safeshopper.com/images / w0fks5v.jpg)? 1. energy is stored in the spin of the wheel. Kind of like when your car coast. The real power comes from the copper magnet coils rolling over to a generator. 2. Very little. But if you made the installation more real bearing and gear precession can get much more. Maybe around 1 / 4 watt. 3.Not not even close to what power required for a fan. Maybe again with a setting of precession. I believe you have to use the trick of the pump to charge a battery. Then run the fan from the battery after it is pumped a number of times. More along the lines of hand powered radios.
