I'm interested in making "light" leisure walk. What equipment do I need besides a good pair of hiking boots?
There is a difference between walking 'light' entertainment and "hiking." Whatever you do make sure you have a good pair of "hiking" boots if you are hiking or a nice pair of shoes walk if you are doing "leisure" ESSENTIAL walking – water – spray lemon juice on it to quench their thirst. – Hat – to keep the sun – I prefer a hat Tilley, as it has a pocket inside to keep things in. – snack of some kind (walnuts are good for the salt content) – whistle – in case of danger or you get into trouble – walking partner / walk – never be alone – light jacket – in case of rain or cold – comfortable trousers and a shirt (preferably cotton As breath) – insect repellent – for errors Pesty not bite – sunscreen – to the days of high UV – camera (optional) – you will be surprised what you see in nature. Some other essential elements are possible, depending on the length of the walk – games – in case you need to keep warm – knife – protection – First aid kit PLACES OF WALK: Ontario – Elora Gorge is good for hiking / walking – Algonquin Park is a hiking area – Kilarney Provincial Park if you want a challenge – any provincial park will provide walking trails.
