If you stop taking atenolol?
I've been taking 50 mg of atenolol for, last time 2 years ago I went to the cardiologist was about 1, said that all was well I did the cover that made all kinds of test on me for hours, he wanted to reduce my dose gradually so you can stop taking it, but I to lose weight, iv lost 60 pounds and I'll give it yet, I feel as strong for me, iv had shortness of breath and heart palpitations times felt like shit, so you can not get a refill and I have an appointment with the doctors until next month, I have no ccardiologistand will not until who knows when, I like I take this medicine to stop taking it because I lost weight
NO – This drug is a beta blocker and if you just stop suddenly, can cause an attack heart. I took this drug in the 90's and when I stopped taking it, my doctor reduced my dose by half for 3 days and then I took half the dose every two days for 4 days. I had a doctor friend who sued her father for negligence, and that only stopped the beta blocker and if he had a heart attack and died.
