what is actually out there in the night sky? aliens?
i keep seeing really strange things in the sky at night and no it isnt a star or a chinese lantern or a plane.. its like long bright weirdly shape things?i cant explain them! could it be a ufo? and also im starting to find it hard to believe that we are the only planet that has life …
Ok that was a bad description i just gave lol…i cant actually explain it, it glows from red to white to orange and the shape is unknown but its not a star.. it really does look like a UFO hovering and then it will disappear
In over forty years of looking at the sky on whatever clear nights we get I’ve never seen anything such as you describe though a couple of other people on here have given similar descriptions of funny lights in the night sky.
There are lights of all sorts but they are all due to natural phenomena like meteors including fireballs or to man-made objects like Chinese lanterns, weather balloons, bits of satellites and other space junk falling to Earth, kites with cycle lamps on or candles in jars hanging from them , planes and helicopters,. people messing with laser beams, cloud height lamps which light up the base of the cloud cover near airports to tell the pilots how high the base layer is, (measure the angle of the beam and the angle to the lighted bit of cloud from a mile or so away and use simple geometry), odd effects of the Moon shining through thin bits of cloud in an otherwise darkly clouded sky……a lot goes in some places in that big sky.
But no alien spaceships. UFO means it’s flying or at least seen in the sky and it’s not identified, not that it’s an alien visitor.
