Leatherman Wave Question?
I am looking to get a new Leatherman Wave for Christmas and at first I was looking to get the regular Skeletool but didn’t like how the bit driver dug into your hand when you used the pliers. I also didn’t like the fact that the pliers were not needled noesed and were flat. But anyway, getting to the question, I don’t like knives or multi-tools that you need to dig your nails into to get out a tool(I don’t have long nails because I bite them and no its not a nervous habit I just do it). And for all you people that say, “Well, quit biting your nails and you won’t have to worry.” Your answer will BE DELETED IMMEDIATELY! If you can answer my question great, if not, thanks anyway.
Whoops, I totally forgot to ask the question. Well the question is, do you have to use your fingernails to open up the tools in the Wave?
I have a Wave. But with my short nails, I still manage to use the tool ok.
But anyway, the new Leathermans are nice.
You do not have to open it up to get to the drivers,blades and such.
If they still make a Wave, don’t buy it.
Buy the next one or two up.
I don’t remember their names, but like I said, they are a great improvement.
Again, go shopping the Leathermans before you buy. They are nice.
