It is the word, the hero, the most overused word by journalists today?
Today's reading in the papers about a pilot hero who was killed along with all its passengers after their light aircraft hit a lightweight approach for landing. The plane apparently submerged before the pilot apparently had some control over it, before finally plummetted to the ground. Nowhere in history was the heroic work of his act. A hero is someone who is put in danger despite having the option to not be in danger. In this circumstance, the pilot was trying to save his own bacon. I do not blame him for this, but there was nothing heroic act. Is in excess, just as OVERUSE DOUBT WHAT YOU THINK OF HEATH LEDGER IN JOKE – and then you go making comments like "I still think people feel better with respect to a sad situation "You really pissed me off more than the question about what he's doing next – and I'm not alone.
