What I can buy to make a flash of light?
Recently I bought a lamp shaped like a lighthouse for my dad and he wants the light on the than flash. I know there's something you can buy to do this because some of them in the store were intermittent, but not know their names. Please someone can you tell me what I have to buy. Thanks.
It is a common enough device, used in devices such as remote indicators phone calls. Here is a link to a picture of it. http://www.nfss.com/fbflbu60wma1.html is a button that goes to the bulb socket and when power is applied, makes the relay small to heat, cut power, cool down, reconnect power, repetition, etc. Like the flashing of turn signal in the car. Locally, you should be able to find in a hardware store, maybe Lowe's or Home Depot or Ace, or visit the local camera stores. Amazon.com might have something like it, too.
