How do you calculate an astronomical unit into a light year? It’s for my science project.

I know that 1 light lear is equal to 63,240 astronomical units. And I know that there are 5,865,696,000,000 miles in a light year. I’m working on the planet Mercury and it has about .39 A.U.’s from the planet to the sun, and that’s equal to 36,000,000 miles, but how can I calculate one of those numbers to get the amount of light years? Help please???
If 1 light year = 63,240 AU, then 1 AU = 1/63,240, or .0000158 light years.
Or don’t bother with AU, its just another number.
If you know the distance in miles (though all scientists would use kilometers), then divide the distance in miles by the number of miles in a light year to get the distance in light years (it will be a VERY long decimal).
