Wolf Eyes – Sniper P7 Tactical Torch
The Wolf-Eyes P7-Sniper is one of the first produced high-quality LED flashlight that uses the SSC P7 LED.

Now before you start gushing everywhere and start talking big blow to all your friends about how you will be able to start fires 3 feet away with his flashlight new, let's look to P7 in its implementation.
Wolf Eyes together a good flashlight here and some very solid solid-state technology is involved in the regulation of LED, but the sniper P7 is still only rated about 230 lumens.

The P7 LED (AKA: Light)
P7 LED (light) is the latest in a series of single light-emitting diodes or LED's that have been created by a company called Seoul Semiconductor (SSC) in Seoul, Korea, which is the country's leading LED manufacturer and one of the ten largest in the world.
These diodes South-South have come a long way since its beginnings in the late 90's with a fellow named Acriche, a 2W single emitter of octagon type that runs directly electrical power without converters.
In March 2007, the company announced an upgrade to the Acriche 2W single emitter, which is a luminous efficacy of 48 lm / W, which is 20% brighter than the version the company began to produce in mass
November 2006.
The brightness level reached the best diode is comparable to that of conventional LEDs of 57 lm / W, but experiences a loss of 20% in the conversion.
Seoul Semiconductor plans to increase Acriche luminous efficacy to 80 lm / W in the fourth quarter of 2007, and up to 120 lm / W in 2008.
