my old coleman crawdad boat is still sound but the tubing in the botton has 3 splits in them.?
what is the best way to repair them?
its only a 12 ft poly boat for fresh water the tubing is used to support the chairs
What are these tubes? If they are keel coolers then (assuming you are in salt water) your engine has been cooled with salt water since the cracks occurred. As such they should be replaced rather than repaired, and the engine copiously flushed with fresh water to reduce any corrosion. If it is the stern tube assembly,much the same applies,though the engine would not need to be flushed.
