Is there a digital chip that reads and binary outputs for digital LED screens?
I realize this is a shot in the dark, but I'm looking for read binary information from a microcontroller. A string of bits or 8-pin microcontroller each be a little number. Either way works. I need a chip that can read this information and take care of all the logic behind converting the binary number to an LED display. Any help or points would be greatly appreciated.
Yes, it is called a display driver 7-segment! Octal and hex base drivers are everywhere, even I have seen in the radio shack sometimes!
