Ozark Trail Vs Northwest Territory Tent?
Hey everyone. There are 2 tents I have my eyes on. One is 3 dollars more. I can’t decide which one I want, despite looking at reviews. There is good and bad in both. So here are the 2.

the ozark trail is 32.88
well which one do you think is superior. I think they both have a rain fly. i am really looking for rain protection, but you see i have a tarp for the top anyways… so input is appreciated. thanks.

Your best bet for a tent that will work AND probably last you for many years is Eureka. They make many of their better tents in the USA and also have a line of less expensive imported tents.
Believe me, I have used Eureka tents in the jungles of Central America in temps above 100 F to the Adirondak Mountains of New York, where the temps were minus 10 F. Eureka tents can withstand harsh conditions.
My choice for economy would be the Apex2 tent for about $90 from Campmor. Yes, it’s more than three times what you intended to pay, but those Kmart or Walmart tents will only last you a single season, versus the Eureka that will last you at least 10 years (assuming you used it 10 times a season and took decent care of it).
So, you’re going to get 10 times the use from a Eureka. That means your budget tent would cost you $300 compared to this $90 Eureka.
