Is it likely my car will be a write off?
I had a front end impact on my 2006 Audi A6 (value £17500) on christmas day. The car was parked and someone drove into it at about 60mph. The bonnet, bumper and grill are gone not sure but I think the headlamps and wings may be as well. The rads have gone, the drivers side chassis leg is reasonably bent, the passenger side panel gap between the wing and door has closed so the door rubs the wing and the drivers side has opened up. I have a courtesy car which is costing the other side about £115 a day. With this damage I know the car is fixable but is the expense plus my cars scrap value worth the insuarnce company writing off?
No one here can judge whether or not your car will be “written off”. It has to be examined by a body shop and/or an adjuster.
