Why do police departments paint their black cars? I thought I was supposed to feel safe, not threatened.?
Always I had a creepy feeling when I see a police cruiser is black. Why the need for a color so threatening? Are not you supposed to feel safe when we see a man in a police car? Not feel they are out to get us? Serve and protect is their motto. Why the need for the black jet? Many people are afraid of the police and these people did not even commit crimes. I do not understand.
Color black is not a threatening. It has long been the Color serious and formal things: law, justice and education (not just the police wear black, but so do the judges and students who graduate school). There is simply nothing threatening about the color itself.
