How to convert a truck to run on LPG (liquefied propane gas)?
I wonder if anyone knows of a place that sells and installs the installer of LPG (Axillary tank, lines, valves) in a car to be operable in gas and LPG. I live in the Pittsburgh area. Before, when my "previous life" on the other side of the pond, the LPG conversion was very common and liquefied propane is cheaper and charging stations are available in various parts of the city where I lived. Could not find anything on Google … gas mileage in my 8cyl Discovery sucks, but I want to keep the truck …
These guys are probably one of the best systems in place right now .. http://www.prinsautogas.com/en But I warn you! It is not cheap! You will have to be doing a lot of driving to conversion cost pay for itself. They have a contact number on their website and should be able to hook up with a distributor conversion … Good luck with that!
