How big of a hot air balloon (s) / blimp would be required to lift the Queen Mary?

Sorry, I searched the specs on the Hindenburg. Then I tried to extrapolate the data to cover the weight of the Queen Mary. The numbers became so great that it became ridiculous. Kilometers in diameter, several tens of kilometers long with the kind of horsepower generated shuttle. Picking an ocean liner a blimp is way beyond any form of fiction practice. I honestly can not even dream that big. Good luck in your book, but if I were you, I would try some other plot. How about a top secret piece of alien technology and the government has used to save the day.
