Akai my digital camera sucks battery life. Should I get or lithium batteries?
I put in 2 regular AA batteries in the camera and after taking 3 shots, the battery meter is halfway drained! What is best for my 6.0 mega pixel camera. Or batteries rechargeable lithium?
Alkaline batteries simply do not have power for more than a few photos on a digital camera. Some may have feeding problems only the beginning of the camera. Digital cameras are mostly the best and most economically used with rechargeable NiMH batteries (in Lithiums now are simply not economic. Not too sure about their safety or). Wal-Mart sells NiMH AA for about $ 7 for a pack of four (about $ 15 to 19 for the batteries to the charger). Note that will save you money in the long run more alkaline, and will last at least 100 shots per charge (and probably many more). You will be very satisfied with their performance, and may slap yourself for not buying sooner. When at the store, look in the package for a power of the least 2500 mah.
