20 gallon fresh water, you want to convert salt water?
I have a 20 gallon tank without fish. This is a spare tank in my apartment. I want to make in salt water. What other teams I have to do this? Also, I want to get the fish that look like Nemo, like two of them, and a plecostomus water salt. Can anyone point me in the right direction for water quality and supports catfish, plants, corals, etc. I do not need to be elaborite, only one water tank small simple salt. Websites that may be useful for me? I have 4 freshwater tanks, and I'm ready to move to salt water. Thank you.
A 20 gallon tank is a bit small for saltwater, but can be done. The "Nemo" fish you're referring to is known as a Percula clown fish and are very strong and easy to care. I have one I've had for over 10 years and still going strong at 29 gallon tank. You will only be able to keep one in your tank, they are very territorial and constantly fighting with other clownfish. You can, however, has other damsels (embezzlement are part of the damsel family, by the way) and most of them are small, cheap and very tough. You will probably only be able to keep 5-7 small fish in 20 gallon tank, but owes much to make an interesting display.
