how could i bake brownies while camping, all i have is one of those propane stove top cookers?
could i use the cast iron dutch oven somehow

Ok here is one way. Dig a hole deep enough for your pot or pan to be completely underground. Line the hole with rocks. Get your pan, pot etc etc. Put the brownie mix inside. You will need a lid or tin foil. Then add rocks on top of it. Build a fire over it. It will simulate like an oven. The rocks help regulate the heat. as well as it being underground. Then when you think its done dig it back up.

I myself use the first way I mentioned. I was taught in in survival training and by a Local Hawaiian when I lived there while I was in the military.
