Toddler with Molluscum or Not?
My 28month old daughter has a rash with pimple like bumps on her left wrist and not itchy.
We went to the pediatrician, and he diagnosed her with molluscum.
The bumps start show 2 weeks ago and I starting covering with bandage about a 5 days after we went to the doctor as a I read it would spreading if my daughter scratch it.
But I went to the dermatologist and he check it under the lamp and he said its not molluscum, just a rash.
Because he can’t find any single bumps that match description of molluscum.
The bumps not increasing or decreasing, but the dermatologist said, it could take up to a month to clear that one out.
And I notice, I put her on silver bracelet before, so I take it out, the derm told me, it might allergic reaction too.
So I’m confused which one I should trust.
My daughter didn’t go to daycare and none of our circle of friends have it.

You trust the dermatologist..he’s a specialist…an expert in skin. The pediatrician is a doctor of everything and a specialist of nothing.
