LG Xenon blank screen?
Just last week I purchased a LG Xenon. I’ve been very cautious with my phone; I haven’t even dropped it yet. However, just today I placed it in my purse, dug it out several minutes later when my text tone rang, only to find that the screen went completely blank. At first I thought the phone was off, but it wasn’t. It was completely functional, minus the working screen.
It’s odd, because the screen works just fine. I tapped where the menu icons would be, and they worked (I could tell by the vibrations)
Has this happened to anyone?
I went to the AT&T store and they told be I’d have to mail it in and get a replacement phone (I have insurance) but still I’m curious as to why this happened.
Personally, its sounds like a defect typical on sliders!!! not anyone’s fault.. just a bad egg…

Wrong expectations!!! Go back to that freaking store! If you bought it last week as stated, then Buyer’s Remorse states your exemption that if the phone is defective within 30 days of purchase—you are allowed an in-store exchange for another new Xenon or price difference/credit if you wants another phone (manager appproval–see store manager!!!!)
you have the insurance option for a $50 deductable for a new Xenon
or
you have the Warranty option for a refurb Xenon
or
you have that BR option i said above—just mention you screen went blank for no reason and you only got it 10 days ago… ssshhhhh
